Loud-o-meter watch officially starts today!
If it continues and you hate it please continue to voice your opinions here.
It wont disappear unless the club is told in no certain terms that Collingwood hardcore hates it! _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

I'll be at the ground today so it'll be interesting to see if Collingwood keeps up with this ridiculous initiative to get the Collingwood 'pumped up'.
I hope it's gone for good whether that's today or in the very near future. It's not what we're about here. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

I am shocked that people are actually still going to a game in this stupid graveyard timeslot. The AFL thinks they can get away with it. Everyone should stay away. _________________ Rain or hail, I wag my tail |

Yes it was 'on'.
Sack the Loud Meter please.
When we hit the front, the crowd lifts. Don't need a dumb scoreboard meter at all. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

stupid ridiculous gimmick that is not required. I do not need to be told when to cheer for my bloody team. the crowd creates its own atmosphere. we don't need this artificial crap. |

Yes the loud-o-meter was present in tonight's game but unlike last week it had no impact in interrupting the crowd noise during a goal. It was completely mistimed on several occasions when the ball was being bounced at the centre bounce after a Collingwood goal.
It's absolutely atrocious and needs to go sooner rather than later. It just doesn't work in a sport like Australian Rules and it only adds to the insulting reminder that the club is telling me to cheer even though us Collingwood fans can cheer whenever we feel like cheering. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

Seemed to me like it was more subdued today. Came on a few times without the revving engines, and not sure it ever got to the full din of last week. _________________ Well done boys! |

I agree that it was more subdued but it's still out of its depth in a typical Australian Rules match.
It needs to go sooner rather than later. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

I thought the Load O Metre was the reason we were able to get up yesterday, it really lifted the crowd which lifted the boys.
This coming from a Ford driver is certainly high praise.
I also think Kiss Cam is cool, the more love we can get to the game the better.
We really need have the music during the breaks louder and maybe more techno / trance type tunes would be better. |
