All it does is kill the noise the crowd is already making!!!!!!
Whoever implemented this monstrosity, does not get "Collingwood".

+1. what a joke. i guess it is someone's response to the calls to stop the ground announcer telling us to cheer for our team.

This is no longer the Collingwood I grew up with. I'm sick of the way the club has been hijacked by the corporate set and seems to be run by Gen Y know-nothings.

Just took the attention away from the fact the crows support was better then ours.
The mcg is offering us no home ground advantage anymore, our volume even during the last quarter was negligent.
The crows coming from adelaide oval must of thought it was a joke compared to the atmosphere over there.
Watch port next week take away our crowd advantage aswell

This was my first experience with this absolute atmosphere killing piece of shit.
All this piece of shit does is drown out and stop actual supporters trying to lift there
Side with chants. If this piece of shit is used at our games ever again then I'll stop going . I'm deadly serious as it totally ruined my favourite experience as a supporter tonight.

David, it is played after Collingwood kick a goal. It is a "Loud-o-metre", and it's supposed measure and get the crowd to be louder. The sound it makes is a car engine being revved and it is sponsored by Holden.
And yes, it's a fkn embarrassment. Worse than the "Doggie, Doggie Doggies" thing that Footscray used about 10 years ago.

At certain times during the game the loud-o-meter will show up on scoreboard, asking the crowd to "GET LOUD", all to the sound of a revving car engine.
And yes, I agree with KM, get rid of it.

It's horrendous. Hearing the natural crowd noise after a goal was beautiful until this loud-o-meter kills all of that!
The club should get rid of it on top of the bloody dance troupe who are embarrassing to watch and the kiss, hug and dance cams. I'm sick of this crap to 'enhance' match-day experience.
