I'd support 17 rounds.

I agree this is fairer Joel, but seriously this would hand soccer a massive advantage and believe me they will cash in. The A-League has lengthened their season and with all the international soccer competitions on TV during the summer months down here it won't be long before AFL slips into second position in the football code stakes.

Once all those kids who are playing soccer, at rates twice as great as footy, start making their mark on the soccer world, footy will struggle. We are seeing it already. The quality of young footy players coming through is not there. Why? Because kids are playing OTHER sports.

Voted another idea - sit out the next 3 seasons completely.

It should be a 17 round season with 3 byes. This way everyone plays each other once and it makes the draw fair. This will never happen because the AFL are so greedy.
