Hope we get him. I know Melbourne have been a shit side for years, but when my mate Liam Jurrah played for them I remember asking him who was the best player at the Dees and without hesitating he replied "Frawley for sure mate". |
Well according to Robbo, We already have a Verbal Agreement from Frawley.

Nothing would surprise me with Nate at the helm. _________________ Defender...........

His response was interesting
"This isnt an appropriate place or time to discuss this"
When pushed after being told by Robbo he had it on good authority the pies where into Frawley in a big way Bucks responded
"Who told you"
Robbo chuckled and said I can't tell you that.
Other interesting points in regards to injuries
"We need to review everything about our fitness and rehab programs" "It isn't good enough to have players like Reid miss 17 rounds this year and Beams miss 16 rounds last year" "It can't all be just bad luck it must be something more"
Martin upgraded and he said he was excited to see Scharenberg play VFL this weekend. He said the club would make list adjustments with the AFL tomorrow
Bucks said rounds 2 thru 7 the side had exceeded internal expectations but since had been below the expected standards and that wasn't acceptable long term.
He said he expects to play finals every year and anything else wasn't acceptable
He also said if the season finished now after the last game result against Essendon he would consider the season a failure due to the sides poor form since the bye.
As usual spoke every well and with sense.
I know it's easy to speak and sound convincing but Bucks seems to do it very well.
He did say the club had drafted and planned to be very competitive from 2014 onwards and especially in 2yrs time. |
Just as some of us have been saying here for bloody ages but the "perceptive fellow" just don't get it..... |

Apparently Bucks said he was being upgraded tomorrow, which must mean he's playing against the crows. Well done to the kid. He kept knocking on the selectors door until his form was such that they couldn't keep him out any longer. He could prove to be a real wild card if he can replicate some of his magical VFL form at AFL level.
I'm naturally a glass half full type of supporter, so I'm starting to get excited again at the thought of us soon having Martin, Elliott, Broomhead, Reid, Keeffe, Fasolo, Sinclair and hopefully Sharenberg in our senior team approaching the finals. Throw in Grundy and there's potentially 9 new players we might see in our best 22 in a few weeks time. We've never seen this team play, so who knows what they're capable of. I like to think anything's possible. |
And maybe, just maybe, a fully fit Freeman as well.............. |

Every year, every big name player is coming to the Pies...
Chalk up a Frawley to Sydney 18 year deal as a given. _________________ Buon Giorno |
