Pies deal with Star Athletic clothing, stinks.

i just bought a polo (black/white strips with Magpie on left breast) and it feels like a cheaply made $15-20 polo you would buy at Kmart/Target.

The deal to move away from Adidas was wrong, we pay the same if not more for the products and get a far inferior product.

I wont buy the members polo anymore for this reason.

Agree, quality is shit. Catches and Pulls threads during foreplay.

I jest, but I do agree. It's rubbish.

I remember getting an email from Perty touting how the Star deal would provide members with affordable apparel..... Funny how the price is dearer than Adidas.

Sometimes the club can seem desperate to make extra profit at times. This continual greed will bite them on the arse eventually. Let's see what happens to our membership revenue next year when people ditch the expensive memberships for cheaper ones.

The members polo is shit, it may carry the Star Athletic logo but that is not Star Athletic gear. The genuine stuff is fine.

Is anyone surprised?

Charging more for less is our clubs mantra.

Are we all looking forward to the 'Pies record profit" article in the media at the end of every season which has basically become Collingwood's idea of a premiership? That and having the most members, which is the pre-season premiership.

One would have thought the following mathematical formula would apply:

Most members + Most Profit = Better value for members

It's a joke.
