If Young keeps his spot, I'll be staggered.
I've totally lost faith and trust in him. 2 weeks in a row he has embarrassed himself and me as a supporter.
Marty Clarke has had far less significant face palm moments.
The fact that he was subbed instead of Maxy on one leg says it all. Another free agency bust IMO.
Would much prefer to play a kid like Broomy or Grundy or Kennedy or Keeffe or Martin. |

Surely Lumumba needs to go before Young? Been taking the piss out of the club for years. |

Then why did you select him as your in's when you posted your changes? |
More hopeful rather than anything. |

We have three key transformers for this weeks game: Reid, Elliott and Keeffe. Add those three and we are definitely a chance. Any other selections are fiddling around the edges. Broomhead, Fasolo, Martin, Grundy are all a chance to play, but they won't make the difference between winning and losing. _________________ Well done boys! |

Bloody hell... anyone could be mistaken for thinking that the Crows were on top of ladder 4 games in front of everyone else.
Just checked the ladder, yep they're still a game behind us, sitting outside the 8. Hold on... just check outside, sky isn't falling in either... bit cloudy but that's it.
Yep they pushed Hawthorn - but on their own turf, and it's not like the Hawks are flying at present. Before that they destroyed a GSW outfit that's had more ups and downs than a rollercoaster. Before that they beat Port who now look a shadow of themselves... doesn't look as impressive a victory now that Port have lost 4 out of 5.
Seriously.... it's on our turf. Even if we weren't welcoming back Reid, Keeffe and Elliott (which we will be) we were more than a shot against that mob. _________________ Side By Side Forever |

B: Tom Langdon, Jack Frost, Alan Toovey
HB: Marley Williams, Lachie Keefe, Paul Seedsman
C: Steele Sidebottom, Tim Broomhead, Brent Mc Caffer
HF: Tyson Goldsack, Travis Cloke, Patrick Karnezis
F: Ben Kennedy, Ben Reid, Jamie Elliiott
Foll: Jarrod Witts, Dayne Beams, Scott Pendlebury
Int: Luke Ball, Jesse White, Clinton Young
Sub: Josh Thomas
If we start getting beaten down back we can swing Reid back and put White forward.
We need goal kicking power hence putting Karnezis in with Kennedy and Elliott.
Broomhead and Seedsman both play as we need run and carry.
For mine Hertier misses goes back to VFL to get some form back. He has been ordinary lately IMO
Lets hope all the players get through training and pull up well. |

Karnezis did not play last VFL Game from a Tight Hammy.
So I highly doubt he will play in the AFL _________________ I am Da Man |

Yeah Young is a likely omission based on what I've heard.
Bucks was always going to sub him off on the back of that dropped mark in the dying minutes of the GC game.
Nevermind it screwed Maxy's ankle for good and ensured he does not get a farewell game, something he isn't too rapt about. |

Amazing what a committed team and positive mindset can achieve.
It was a total team effort by the Saints and proves that if you get everyone contributing then great things can happen.
Freo were smashed by a team that wanted it more, pure and simple and this could feasibly cost them top 4 as this was supposedly the "easiest" game of their soft run home.
Memo to Nathan Buckley. The role Riewoldt (who is an out and out champion) played today is what we should be aiming for from Trav. Let him roam and gut run and he'll blow 9/10 defenders up and that's when the mismatches will occur when he burns the lumbering defenders off and they try and cover him with the smaller quicker backs. He bloody monsters them.
If Reid's leg is right for 4 quarters he plays and plays forward close to goal as does Jesse White as the versatile 3rd tall. Bring is Martin, play Kennedy as our small forward with Elliott and suddenly we've got a bloody dangerous multi pronged forward line. This line up will give the opposition something to think about instead of the standard modus operandi of double team Cloke and watch Collingwood fluff, fumble and **** around near goal.
The time is past for sticking with proven failures. The season is on the line and I've got a feeling this season is the most open we've had in years (Sydney aside every team has shown wobbles of late) so it's imperative that you get in the finals as this could be the year a bottom of the top 8 side does the impossible and takes a flag.
And my fellow Pies fans instead of bitching about the time next weeks game is on, why don't we all get to the G in force and give the Crows a taste of the hostility our boys faced on their dung hill earlier this year. Let them face the jeers, scorn and contempt from a fired up Magpie Army and let our boys feel the passion, love and support that was once taken for granted and needs to return.
I'd be disappointed if we don't have 50,000+ there and I'm not joking.
Me, Mr's Flashy and the billy lids will be there for this season defining, make or break game. I urge everyone to suck it up and get their backside down to the MCG for our boys. Who gives a shit if it's at an inconvenient time? It's time we made the effort to support our side just as we expect them to make the effort to win games and bring greatness to our club.

Bump
Gets your arses on the seats guys, no excuses.
It's winter in Melbourne, it's always cold and wet, what do you expect?
Sunday twilight? No crowds on the way home.
Think of the times you needed a Collingwood win to cheer you up for what ever reason and you sat there, at the game, in front of the telly, and pumped the air like a 4 year old on Xmas day.
They need us now.

Ok DTM wasn't aware of that thought he played.
So with that being the case Jesse White starts forward and Adams comes on to the bench |

For all the bickering between us at times on Nicks I think for once everyone can agree on something, and it it this. Rocket said his name is in the hat, so hopefully Martins finally gets a well earned crack. Hope they show a little guts and not make him the sub too |
