Nice easy throw away line. Go and do some analysis of the actual list at that time and you'll find it's not quite that simple. |

This. The players have no say.
These threads are ridiculous. |

If there was a issue with the appointment You would think some of the retired players would come out publicly and say it. |

Really? What is this path that has the players so concerned? _________________ kill for collingwood! |

The players along with the coach are employees of the club. I would suggest it is up to the board and the CEO to appoint the coach. Would you think it practical for subordinate staff to vote for who they want as a manager. I'm sure that would end up with a productive culture - not. _________________ Now Retired - Every Day Is A Saturday |

The new fool is losing us home and away games with his selections and stubborn coaching.
It seems we need to get a coach who isn't a fool. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman.

The path that has seen us plummet down the ladder and turned our players into passionless robots that are afraid to speak up and don't play for each other, the one that saw the up and coming list thats just played of in two GF's dismantled, had its soul taken out and turned into a laughing stock.
Bucks' "cultural changes" path if you will. |

You haven't really specified any changes besides the dismantling of the team, which apart from losing Heater for Adams, has netted us good results. And even with that one there is case for getting rid of Heath. Just that our compensation might be a lemon.
And forget about more flags with the team we had. As soon as we (effectively) lost Dids and Jolly to injury, form and Father Time, we came back to the pack. Add in other teams working out how to play against us, further injuries to key older personnel and the probability that Leigh Brown gave us the only six months of good football he had in him to get us the flag, and you start to think we were lucky to get that one.
As for being frightened to speak up, it just doesn't seem Bucks' style to stifle opinion. If you have reliable mail that says the opposite, fair enough, but I just struggle to think of our footy dept being that way.
I will admit his continual favouring of dour triers over talent does shit me. _________________ kill for collingwood! |

Suspect you're right. I still have memories of us getting completely massacred by Brisbance ca 2008 by nearly 100 points, and everyone calling for Mick's head. Teams have bad days, form slumps, and young-on-average teams have more than older teams. The long term view is always best. |
Don't need to go back that far, let's not forget that glorious last game of the 2011 schedule,
And PENDLES reply when asked what happened "we didn't kick enough goals"
Yeah classic, and set us up to lose the GF _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

That's right mick was in charge in 2011 so why did he not win it? |
