Ok, I'm done being disappointed with today's effort, coaching or players otherwise. Without getting too polyanna, is there something, anything that we can look forward to in coming weeks?

I'll try and get the ball rolling. Surely, a forward line that looks something like this could be something to look forward to?

Fasolo, Reid, Karnezis / White
Elliot, Cloke, Martin

Witts can definitely ruck and will be decent when he strengthens his core significantly in a year or two.

Yes, if we can get that on the park, that's a positive. I think either Kennedy or Blair is likely to prove a better bet than Martin, but we won't know til we try, and the other "positive" to come from the past few weeks is that we now have a reason to try things, without too much weight of expectation.

Frost trying and not giving up on covering every tall the Dopers had right till the end was a massive positive.
Bucks should be applauded for giving him such a stern test :/

Freeman, Scharenberg and most importantly Sinclair will be back playing VFL shortly. Or so we are told at this stage.

Even better, Reid, Elliott and Fasolo will be ready for AFL selection over the next 2-3 weeks. Not sure about Karnezis, he'll struggle to get back after pulling a hammy.

We also play GWS some time soon.

Well, on the bright side, we could not possibly play any worse than we did today. If we don't lift hugely for the crows, I will be very surprised, revamp that forward line, and go up about six gears in determination and grit and guts. we can do it, if we want it bad enough. !!
