Goes missing in big games, too often. Pass.

Higgins is vastly overrated IMO and he's injury riddled to boot. Garlett is a better fit and at his best as better player.

Agree to disagree. Higgins has had a bad run with injuries but his best footy is better than Garlett's. Higgins is Didak like.

Goes missing in games???? Our whole team is built on that, surely with either Garlett or Saad available we need to snap up one of them for next year!

No, he was involved in a nightclub brawl at 5am Sunday morning, he was hospitalised.

^Know you're being sarcastic but isn't this exactly what Bucks has been trying to clear out of the club?

Just so, Albert. We do not need any more dickheads. Last thing we want. Carlton can keep him.

he has some talent , but it would take a strong amount of soap to get that filth off him.

Because he's the hero Collingwood deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Knight.

I can see the logic in this..when on song .. Garlett is exactly the player our side is crying out for. However, as Tannin so aptly pointed out...we just spent two years clearing out the trouble makers from the club. In short i am torn Very Happy

Getting punched in a 5 am stoush doesn't automatically make you a dickhead or a troublemaker.
We need someone like Garlett like we need air.

If he's on the outer with Mick, there's no coming back. You're a favourite or you're out the door. I was being a bit silly with the batman quote, but even if he's a bit of a dick with no defensive game, we NEED his type and unless another one falls out of the sky then we'd be mad not to grab him. Considering how our young backs are coming on, I'd be tempted to forget Frawley and grab Garlett instead.

I think Broomhead can play this role - fast, crumbing type. In fact, Broomhead's set shot kicking is probably better than Garlett who, for mine, is a bit of a choker.

Add in Sidey and Dwyer and I think we have a bit happening on the crumbing front when we have a full list available. I thought Sunday night was evidence of that.

I'd be surprised if Bucks got rid of Heater, Wellingham et alia because of behavioural issues and signed up Garlett from another club, notwithstanding his skill-set and apparent fit.
