Thomas played a shit game.
And if his ankles aren't giving him gyp then he's old before his time. He's lost yards of pace, no longer makes contests like he once did, doesn't impact them when he does and is incapable of making the repeat efforts that were his trademark.
And I saw the same Cameron Wood I always have. He's capable of some very good flashes but just that, flashes. He still hasn't dominated a game or even a quarter to my knowledge which is a shame because he has the tools to do it.
That said I still haven't seen anything to make me lose sleep about moving Wood or Ceglar on. I'm very happy with Witts progress and Grundy will be the physical force for us that sides crave in the years to come. |

Ceg's has been very impressive, mostly his efforts as the resting ruckman in his attacking 50. He's marked well, and had a presence. He'd be better if his kicking for goal was better though.
Woody........had a very good game last night, as did many of his mates.......Blue moon for woody at this stage unless I see regular form during the remainder of Carlton's season...Woody was good though none-the-less.

10 pages for friggen ceglar - seriously. He's gone and we need to get over it. You can't blame the recruitment of Jolly for stifling his development either because the club would have put in heaps of time and effort into getting him to a position where they would have felt as though he would improve. Maybe we were the wrong club for him or we thought to gamble instead on other players. Who knows. But if we never recruited Jolly or Ball then we would not have won the 2010 premiership flag. We have Grundy and Witts now who will be dominating the competition before we know it. Wood was hopeless for us unfortunately. He played some ok games and showed glimpses of what he is capable of, but that was it. Daisy can get stuffed. Why do we need to obsess over this clown. |

This thread has far better discussion than most and certainly is more relevant than people calling for us to pick up Judd, Waite and Cocks next year.

Can't believe that this clown has 10 pages dedicated to him and he never played a senior game for us. Bloody hell. What about Witts the messiah and Grundy? |
