It's a disgrace how some people have carried on.
The kid is going to be a really good footballer.
Skills were good today. Commitment to get in and under is awesome.
Few people should be man enough to admit their judgement was premature.

Just as I said in the other thread relating to Taylor Adams, I'm staggered by the number of people who wrote him off earlier in the year.
The kid is only 21 and hasn't even played 50 games left and yet is showing so much promise and poise for the future. He's going to be a great player of the future.

I wouldn't normally draw attention to old posts, as we all, me included, are sometimes prone to serious errors of judgement in hindsight. However, the vitriol directed at Adams a bare 6 weeks or so ago by some Nicksters was completely over the top and nothing short of disgusting. Those who viciously attacked him should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. He could well be our captain in 5 years time, that's how good I rate him. |

Credit where its due mate, I've loved your posting re- Sidebottom over last couple of years, we can definitely do without him and he's very inconsistent
