He basically called them out on being Massive Cheats.
Saying that have no won a Flag since been caught Cheating
Also said that part of Judda$$ salary was still being payed by Visy out of the salary Cap

| Pretty sure it was on ABC radio. What I gathered, he went head to head with Peter Gordon (Bulldogs president) about the COLA. As a parting shot he had a swipe at Greg Swann and the Blues. |

No they're doing what Brisbane circa 2001, 02 and 03 did, sanctioned cheating endorsed by the AFL.

Well Andrew Ireland is spot on when it comes to Carlton, but it doesn't excuse the fact that COLA is a disgrace and giving Sydney an unfair advantage over other clubs, especially when it comes to being able to keep players and being able to offer more money to free agents in free agency as opposed to other clubs.
I still can't get over the fact that they poached both Tippett and Franklin after winning a flag in 2012. The AFL should scrape COLA now rather than gradually phasing it out until 2017.
I'm with Bulldogs president Peter Gordon on this.

I agree Jezza 100%. If they were really that concerned about the cost of living they would have a national index and ensure only the lowest payed players received a benefit from it.
This is just typical Andrew Demetriou who makes rules and is the first one to "legally" break them by manipulation. Dimmy dealing from the bottom of the deck. Sells all the clubs on a salary cap and then continually manipulats it for his own political agenda. Glad he is on his way. I can only hope Gillian has more backbone and integrity. |

Andrew Ireland is on the money.
Carlton still haven't come to terms with the fact that they have to creatively identify, nurture and develop talent rather than get the fattest cheque book out and buy the best talent around. The recent passing of their legend Wes Lofts revealed him as a leader in a club with a bullying, toxic culture. It can't cut it in today's competition. Their replacement of Brett Ratten with uncle Mick is the latest evidence that they still don't get it.
