Went down to Vic park and he was BOG for me.

Must play this week to give us another option.

He was good but made to look better than he actually was by a dominant midfield and some pinpoint forward delivery. That said, the Cats tried a number of defenders on him and weren't able to curtail him. Only questions would be on his fitness level and who's place he'd take, the last could start a riot.

In previous weeks I would agree he got on the end of some cheapies but he was excellent on saturday, beating his man 1 on 1 in contested situations and also excellent kicking for goal.

With our fwd line not really firing in the seniors I would think he would be a very good chance this week.

Promises so much, agile, fast, good mark.

Gives little.

White was always going to be hot and cold. Was exactly that at the Swans. I'm struggling to understand why posters think that'll automatically change up his output just because he's now wearing a Pies jumper. It was alway anticipated that he'd be the 3rd tall in partnership with Cloke and Reid. The cream on the top if you like. Haven't seen that once thus far in 2014. Let's wait till we get Reid back before we make too many judgements.

Oh, and Karnezis will offer more of the same.

I was one of the biggest supporters of White's recruitment and was basically of the same opinion as what you've just posted there.

White wasn't brought here to carry our forward line, he was brought here as an agile tall 3rd option to Cloke (who I'm sure wasn't forecasted to have this dip) and Reid.

With Cloke and Reid taking the 1st and 2nd defenders I think White will excel more so than he has been currently.

If Elliot's still missing, you'd imagine he'd play if fit enough. That's quite an if though.

Nope, needs to learn to impact the games the way Blair does before he gets the call up.

Yes, the forward line needs some creativity and options. PK is strong overhead, mobile and a sound shot for goal, and he's had time to build his fitness. And anyway, as Churchill reputedly said, off air : "we'll throw bottles at the buggers, it's about all we've got left...."
