And there it is. Chop Blockers must score 2 TD's or a TD and 2 field goals to take the lead. _________________ A Collingwood supporter since the egg was inseminated. |

5 m, 13 s to go. And the Packers have another INT. Morgan Burnett has it. The Pack defence has been much better than its offence today. |

... which is just as well, since the offence doesn't look scoring any more points today. |

Packers defense has been exceptional today. Took Wilson's legs away from him, kept Lynch contained and made the Seahawks have to pass the ball to compete. _________________ A Collingwood supporter since the egg was inseminated. |

3.52 to go, Seattle have it at their own 31. Just one timeout and the 20 minute warning available to stop the clock for them. |

Lynch scores a TD for Seattle but the score is under review and he may have stepped out just around the 10. Critical call for the video ref, with about 2.52 to play. |

Desperate defence stops Wilson at the one but he runs in a TD on the next play, with 2.09 to go. Pack defence is stopping. 19:14. |

Onside kick. Seattle recovers. Green Bay doesn't want to win this. |

Over and out from me. Good luck to the Pats and the Colts later today. |

Wow, just wow. I thought my 49ers wrote the book this year on how to lose a game but I'm pretty sure the Packers just re-wrote the book. _________________ A Collingwood supporter since the egg was inseminated. |

It all went to crap from the moment the Seahawks recovered from 3rd and 31. What an opportunity missed. Firkin Seahawks. _________________ "The night is a very dark time for me" Chaz Michael Michaels |

Actually, this is why I love the NFL. If it was Collingwood, I wouldn't be able to eat, drink or speak for days. Whereas, here, I'm a little disappointed, a fair bit angry but reasonably sanguine about it.
As for the game, special teams defence needs some work after giving up that hopeless first TD and then fumbling the onside kick. That said, I thought Coach was poor today. With the game on the line, I thought the Pack needed just one first down to run Seattle out of time. Instead, he tried to run the clock down but Lacy was done by that stage. Best QB in the NFL and the team didn't trust him to try to win it. Yes, I know that No 4 would probably have thrown a game-losing INT at that point - but at least he would have ignored the coach and tried to score the winning TD. So would Joe Cool have done. Which is why, when all is said and done, they remain the best QBs to watch in the history of the game. |
