It's a rule that should go. Bryant had control of that ball from the point of the catch right up until he stretched for the in goal and the point of the ball hit the ground. Now what I find annoying is that even though the ball moved in his grip at no time did he actually lose physical contact with the ball, but by the definition of that rule it's an incomplete pass.
Strangely if he had of lost complete control of the ball in the exact same situation it likely would've been ruled a fumble.
Correct call on a bad rule, but a fantastic game and win by the Cheese heads. Oh yeah and I'll be 100% barracking for them against the chop blockers. |
Cowboys got Screwed on that Call. That was Easily a Catch |
Not according to the rules. They were on the unfortunate end, for them, of a crazy rule. But the reversal was correct. _________________ "The night is a very dark time for me" Chaz Michael Michaels |

Correct. It's a bad rule, no one's disputing that, but the reversal was correct.
Now the Lions the week before can tell you all about getting screwed, it happened at least three times to them. _________________ A Collingwood supporter since the egg was inseminated. |

Except for the idiot unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, which moves the Pack to the 19. How do highly paid professionals make such mistakes? |
