David King is showing his love for us again. This is a good read.

http://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/coach-nathan-buckley-instils-a-teamfirst-attitude-into-youthful-collingwood-now-playing-sidebyside-football/story-fndv8g1a-1226902692747

The old Collingwood of 2010/11 (with room for a lot more improvement) has been returning over the last month.

We're back to No. 16 for handballs and No.4 for kicks, which has reversed some of the bad trends that seemed to be emerging while our game plan was under change.

I guess we just needed to be a little more patient didn't we! Smile

Wasn't Kingy the first to jump on board in 2010 as well?

I really want to drag up some of the threads that were being posted after the round 1 loss to Freo.....the "the end is nigh" posters. But better to save them till seasons end...particularly if we can make top five this season....gloating is a dish best served after round 23 Very Happy

David King, in my opinion, is one of the better judges of the game of AFL football. I enjoy listening to King both when he doesn't agree with what we are doing and when he does.

David King has a good footy brain and his anaylsis is often very good too, considering we (on this forum (except Hiss)) are all arm chair experts.

The War Room is one of my fave things to watch during the game.

Have tried this before with the "perceptive fellow" but they either totally disappear when we start winning or very conveniently forget what they wrote. Rolling Eyes

I respect David King and terry Wallaces opinions about list management and game structure more than any others in the media.
They are the only ones who I actually learn something new from.
All the others dribble the same crap that you hear in the outer every week.

for the first time ever, on 360 kingy attempted to explain what a "structure" was to the footy public. very few "experts" try to explain in simple terms what the **** they are talking about.

i am a big fan of kingy.

Yes, reluctantly agree with King on occasions. Hate to say it but Voss has also made a lot of sense of late.
His comments on Beams recently were spot on !

I think he's referring to Frawley choosing us over Adelaide, if we were both chasing him via free agency. Provided the $$$ weren't too far apart then we'd be a much better proposition.

And he wouldn't have to live in Adelaide either!
