Love some of the descriptions in the article of Goldy as Feral. That's the thing I've always loved about him, his work rate and his speed when chasing. Some blokes only get into top gear when there's a chance to get a kick, show Goldy a sniff of a tackle and he's like a starving dog spying a dangling roast.

And when he does run em down, he tackles like they owe him money.

Love the guy. (in a purely platonic non sexual way of course)

Opposition players would hate to have to play on him I reckon.

And they'd know all about it the next day.

I recall a discussion a while back when we drafted Scharenberg about whether defenders needed to be drafted or just made out of the blokes who can't cut it as forwards and mids.

Goldsack and Reid show us that you don't need to draft forwards. You just make them out of the guys who can't cut it as defenders Wink
