Had we not delisted his whiny arse, would he still be getting a game? We certainly miss his experience on game day but that's about it I reckon. I still think, even if fully fit, that he would be struggling to get a game with Grundy and Witts now being able to fill the void nicely. As a combo they are quite effective and cover quite a bit of ground and are very competitive around stoppages too. I like what I see and the future is bright and in some years to come we could have the best ruck combination in the league.

Anywhere near his best? Without a doubt. Our ruck setup is not flag ready, we just have to hope it holds up well enough. The question is, whether he'd have been anywhere near his best this season. Probably not.

That's because his 'best' was some 3-4 years ago. There's no way he'd be getting as much game time now if fit because he was well past his prime. He would've been competitive and would've been able to make a solid contribution off the field too because Grundy and Witts would've benefited from his knowledge and expertise, but I reckon he had reached that point in his career where injuries and the game itself had got the better of him.

I can't wait to see the payout Jolls gives Scotty Cam after he get's the flick from the show, if the sprays he gave Bucks and Neale Daniher are anything to go by.

After we culled Jolly, a real-money poll conducted amongst 94.44% of senior AFL list managers voted by 17 to zero that he wasn't worth a spot on their rookie lists.

And hence why people jumping up and down about all the players Buckley got rid of are off the mark. Clubs paid good currency to get some of Geelong's over-30 brigade, but wouldn't touch our veterans even as they were being tossed out for hard rubbish collection...

Exactly not worth talking about because every other AFL club (and several state level clubs) didn't want him at their club for various reasons, and most weren't on field related.

In the end the worst run club in the AFL gave him a job as their ruck coach.

and now he's appearing on reality TV where everyone will see his real personality.

Thanks for your service Darren, but good riddance.

For real.. do we really need to keep taking pot shots at Jolly? Yes, I don't like what he did at the end of last year either, but surely we can all move on and cut our premiership hero some slack and maybe show a bit more respect? After all, he only won us a flag.

Respect has to be earned, and it has to be mutual. Jolly earned our respect on the field, then he lost it with his big mouth and bitter, jealous newspaper articles and interviews. He clearly has no respect for supporters; it's only natural that most of us have lost respect for him.

Amazing story is Jolly.
Voted into the leadership group and was a BIG part of our premiership.
Must have been popular with the boys at some stage.

Frazer was struggling physically and then mentally.
Regardless of what went on, Jolly should have never opened his mouth while still at the club.

He played a huge number of games without injury and was very resilient.
Once he got his first injury though it seemed like time caught up with him like a freight train. He just never got healthy and could not play to the same level. This had to be a big factor in why clubs overlooked him.

What came after was really disappointing and ironically for him his out burst just supported Bucks decision to let him go.

I was more upset loosing heath and even that was probably for the best.

Id be spewing if he was getting games ahead of Witts or Grundy now. He'd just be getting in the way of their development.
