Maybe that was from when Kane Cornes had a go at us in 2001 or 2002

Then don’t watch the TV Shows on Tonight then. They be all up in arms as he is the Collingwood President and you know that Bad Pie News will Sell and have Ratings

Big whoop!!!! Move on........

More disturbing for mine, and I love ya Ed - was that embarrassing rant about the time clock.
Mate, when a countdown clock without going into decimal fractions reaches a point that displays "0", there is still 0.9 seconds to go mate!!

Yeah, I was thinking the very same thing! The time between 0.9 to 0.0 didn't seem to exist for Eddie.

Actually I had the same thought but wasn't so sure.

Surely, the 0.9 would come after 1.0

so 1, .9, .8, .7, .6, .5, .4, .3, .2, .1, 0. Surely after 0 it's -0.9, -0.8 and so on...

FYI, Math was never my strong subject.

Hmmnnn............good point!

But whatever the correct calculation is, surely the way to fix this time lag problem is very simple? The umpires are already wired up to do score reviews etc. where they can receive communication.
So why don't they just blast the siren into their ears pieces at the RIGHT time? Where's the problem?

^^That's correct. But if the clock only displays whole numbers, anything under 1 second will be 0, because it's not showing the fractions of a second.

I get your point but the siren went 2 seconds AFTER the display of 0 in two instances. How can you figure that?
