This isn't going to be a walk in the park, the boys gave everything they had today in trying conditions, they'll also be emotionally drained, 6 day break will hurt us more than Carlton I reckon.
Carlton aren't as bad as people are making out either IMO, they got reasonably close to the Bombers last week and they'll be up and about.
If we win this we'll play finals.
Will more than likely be Darcy Moores first game,. ) _________________ Defender...........

They always lift, so we need to apply pressure for 120 minutes. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

They'll lift but why shouldn't we given the occasion and recent history with Mick?
Todays win will release the pressure valve somewhat for them and they have a history of starting well against us the last few years but they also are yet to get a win against us with Maltouse as coach.
Let's hope that continues and as long as we bring the same intensity as today we'll win handsomely. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

I will be quite disappointed if we do not beat Carlton. They will lift but I just don't think they have the cattle |

What I would like to see is the 4 points secured by half time and then percentage in the 2nd half. Drive a stake through their hearts - suggest garlic bread for breakfast next week. _________________ If you used to barrack for the 'Pies, you never barracked for the 'Pies. |

Let's be honest.
Play like today and they're no hope.
To soft.
I want to embarrass them. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Gee, and here I was thinking the fact they have a disrupted recovery and a plane trip home would have them worst placed to absorb a 6 day break, silly me. |

nothing less than a public humiliation of the scum will do. The membership demand a demolition of a clearly inferior outfit. _________________ RED "BABY" CAVANAUGH: Didn't hear what the bet was.

I agree with Swoop. If we put the pressure on them like we did Essendon today, they'll crumble like St Kilda or worse. And we wont give them any chances! If we can't keep up the pressure or if we don't match their intensity it'll be game on.
I'm betting the former - I reckon Pies by plenty! GO PIES!

Exterminate the scum and expose them ruthlessly for the 3rd rate team of money hungry, short cut taking, would be silver tails that they are.
Yes Essendon are a disgrace for their injecting ways but that is just one episode.
The scum rorted the system for decades and believed themselves too much better than the competition to be held accountable.
Finally the AFL had to act and ever since they have been shown to be a club without soul or passion. Just a pack of mercenaries intent on taking every cheap shot they can get away with.
