Silence is the loudest parting word, I will not boo him.
I will cheer our guys on, and hope a collingwood win says all that needs be said.
As much as I have an many opinions on how the DT move transpired, he no longer plays for our great club by his own choice. So I give him nothing, not even the effort to boo him. I also do not condemn those who will boo.
However Booing him I feel will give him an element of validation and it's what the media and opposition will expect and want.
I Imagine the impact of total silence much more satisfying.
Let us not forget also that among our rage and disappointment is an ex collingwood premiership player. For me personally that has a neutralising effect. _________________ No Pressure, No Diamonds

ITS academic for me, as I wont be there, I tend to get into trouble at Caaaarlton games !! i will just sit in front of the tele, and each time the little mongrel touches the ball, hopefully not often, i will just mutter loud oaths and obscenities about him and his parentage, his love of the old fart, then quaff another beer. Stuff him ! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

There is no chance of Collingwood supporters doing anything other than booing Daisy. To do otherwise requires intelligence and knowledge...
...Like I said, the booing will come. The fact that Collingwood lied about him won't make a difference, the moronic will always boo an ex-player in different colours. They can't help it. The fact that it usually makes the player perform better doesn't make any difference. No wonder the image of Collingwood supporters is so bad.
Personally I want to see Daisy back to his best, though it'll take several more weeks, he really is one of the most exciting players in the game. It will always hurt seeing him in Navy Bleah, but he wasn't given that option.
So knock yourselves out Booers, it won't bother Daisy, only other magpie supporters. _________________ "If at first you dont succeed...

Wasn't given the option? Collingwood offered him what he is worth now, and he turned us down.
He had 17 clubs to choose from and chose Carlton, HE CHOSE CARLTON.
Boo your heart out people, he deserves it, it doesn't mean we don't respect what he did for us in the past, but this is the present. |
