I don't understand those who plan to boo him.
I'll be cheering him.......as he is stretchered off the ground with a broken foot in the first quarter. |

AND, hopefully with his rotten vile scum, 38 points behind at that point too. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

I will cheer our guys on, and hope a collingwood win says all that needs be said.
As much as I have an many opinions on how the DT move transpired, he no longer plays for our great club by his own choice. So I give him nothing, not even the effort to boo him. I also do not condemn those who will boo.
However Booing him I feel will give him an element of validation and it's what the media and opposition will expect and want.
I Imagine the impact of total silence much more satisfying.
Let us not forget also that among our rage and disappointment is an ex collingwood premiership player. For me personally that has a neutralising effect. |
totally agree. I won't be booing him, that would mean I actually acknowledge him. He's nothing now _________________ Jacqui © Proud Pies 2003 and beyond |

The worst insult I can pay him is I started off booing him then gave up because he was rubbish...
Just me or did he look a bit close to the waterworks at the end? _________________ We just got nutted at the clearances... |

Glorious moments when he was lining up for goal...
(massive chorus of boos)
...and missing.
(massive raucous cheers)
Then kicking toward goal...
(massive chorus of boos)
...and being smothered.
(massive raucous cheers)
Loved it. Great work supporters at the game, I tip me hat. |

i thought both he and the Collingwood football players handled it with total class. A bit of good humored biffo going both ways, but largely, let's just get on with it. he played well and we won easily. I don't think a player of his role is worth the amount of coin carlton offered, so it sounds like a win win for Thomas and Collingwood (and a stinky loss for carlton - who seem like complete idiots for thinking they were one player away from a flag).
I think there is a lesson in there for us somewhere. I'm just not sure what it is. anyone, anyone .... bueller? .......bueller? _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Third quarter, Daisy kicks out and Ball smothers. The Carlton flog then tangles with Pendelbury and Pendles flings him to the turf.
F&^cking gold! |
