I actually agree with Dave. His knees buckle before Pendles even makes contact. Probably why the ump just let it go completely.

Yep

He took a bit of a dive earlier in the evening when Keefe confronted him in 1Q.
Think it was an odd way to look for a free kick but the umpires saw them all for what they were thankfully.
Just glad Grundy or Caff didn't confront him though because they definitely would have been pinged for something. Oh, come to think of it, Daisy's shot on goal in 1Q was a result of a free against Caff.

Anyone one else at the game get caught between a "BOOOOH" and a "BAAAAALL" when Marley crunched him in a tackle? I was left a little tongue tied. Confused

The aftermath shows you Dale's mindset after that feign and being dumped by our skipper. He runs in with a clenched fist and intent. Who tackles with a clenched fist? Was a pseudo dog act. I'm trying to add the pics but my phone won't allow. It's when Pendles is caught high on F50. Dale tries to be tough, throws a fist around Pendles' neck, then gets dealt with by Caff. A little embarrassing, sad even. For a moment I even felt sorry for him, then thought, "Nah!" he's Carlton scum now.

Did you lip read Caff when he was getting in his face? I could of sworn I saw him mouth the word 'money' (along with a few other words) while he was jumper punching him.

Love the Caff

fantastic article on the thomas v collingwood breakdown of the game in the age. For those interested.

Disappointing article from Baumy. Apart from using "erstwhile" twice in two paragraphs, his depiction of the win as scrappy and uninspiring, I think, undersells the Collingwood performance. Up until the last it was a brilliant effort, one of the more dominant games of the season.

thanks for showing that gif.

I just watched it for maybe the 30th time (LOL!!) and it could be my mind playing tricks on me... but it really is an odd manoeuvre from Daisy. Where is his hand? And he sort of looks like he is leaning into Pendles in a bit of an strange way, and Pendles is like "Get the hell off me!"

I think Pendles only pushed him over because he realised Thomas was taking a dive and Pendles just thought 'you weak c**t''.

I'm all for boos against Thomas, but wouldn't like to see that when we see Heater against us. And particularly wouldn't like to see that against Dawesy (my favourite non-Collingwood player).

Both Heater and Dawesy deserve our respect and appreciation.

I think Pendles pushed him down when Daisy tried to feel him up! That's just not on Dale - no means no!!

Despite my pledge not to boo him , I actually found myself swearing. I then succumb to crowd pressure and booed him savagely. I may be wrong here but he looked fat. No time for these players who chase the big dollars . They destroy team cohesion wherever they plant themselves.

Looks like Daisy is expecting a bump so drops the head to draw a free kick, Pendles just stops, looks at the dickhead and shoves him to the ground
