Just quietly, but there was some chatter over on another board that he will be right to go in the VFL on or about Queen's Birthday weekend... |

He would lose his place on the list and return to the rookie list.
However, AFL rules allow clubs to elevate a rookie mid-season, without the need for a Long Term Injury. Frost could be re-elevated to the senior list under that rule if we need him.
Given his form of late, that is almost a fait accompli... |

Edit: you mean in relation to his spot on the list. Ok, what the bat said then. We'll certainly elevate Frost at the first opportunity. _________________ Well done boys! |

So, if Lynch has a definate break to his leg, he can be placed on long-term injury list, and Martin or Frost elevated in his place?

So if Gault is cactus too, as reported in url below, what is his status?
Is he senior or rookie list?

Despite Martin's goal haul today, Frost would take precedence due to his form i expect? |

Gault is rookie list. In the context of this discussion, he is irrelevant.
Frost probably would take precedence. However, in addition to being able to upgrade rookies for long term injured players, the AFL allows clubs to upgrade 1 rookie during the middle of the year without the need for a long term injury.
Put Lynch on the LTI list and you would have 2 spots open. In effect, you could upgrade both. |

Frost is currently on the senior list in replace of Scharenberg.
We also have an upgrade available mid-season (round 12?). I doubt Scharenberg will be playing seniors by then, so this can be used on Frost.
With Lynch now seemingly on the LTI, we could also promote another player. Martin, if he was considered ready to be selected. _________________ Well done boys! |

Excellent MB, glad you have got your head around it, so i can pick your brain! I will keep a lookout for an official announcement from the Club this week, as soon as Lynchy is declared by the coroner.

Would need to be assessed as an 8 week injury to warrant adding to the LTI list but could work in theory. |
