Great win - proud of all the boys - game plan seemingly concrete now ... improvements to come ...

Tick!

Very good win by the boys. Go into ANZAC Day with some confidence.

Good win, would like to see us really smash teams but its only early in the season

Great to see Clokey find some form again, Fasolo back in form also and killing it

Forward line looks quite strong, would like someone else in place of Blair though

Also umpires were quite good today, but I suppose we were playing the team who gets more decisions against them than any other, just ask Brad Scott!

Great to get the win and I think Bucks really has the boys raring to go for the rest of the season. Now ANZAC Day! Very Happy

But seriously, that second half (especially the third quarter) supports my view that the standard of footy across the AFL has slipped markedly this season. Let's call it what is was, that second half was crap.

That look on Brashaw is priceless! What impressed me most was the physicality we are bringing to the game, Frost and Maxy lead the way, absolutely bashed that Norf mob. Hope we can keep it up.

Awesome game totally dominated the midfield today and pressure was getting back near 2010/2011 proportions

By how far do you miss the point ?!

Did you really expect North to lie down and die ?

Super defensive effort. The tacking and harassment was first class. We forced them into turnovers numerous times. This sapped their confidence and we all over them. We ran hard to block their obvious targets too. An excellent "off the ball" effort & structuring.
Back line held up really well - only conceding 8 goals. Again, due to our pressure their attempted entries inside 50 were poor, often their kicks went straight to us. A backline consisting of Frost, Langdon, Fasolo and the much maligned Maxwell would not have inspired too much confidence at the beginning of the year, but all have been excellent since Round 2.
No injuries, so we step closer again to seeing Reid, Brown, Seedsman, Sinclair, Scharenburg & Freeman back in action.
8/10, great stuff!!

We can do a lot worse than play Grundy & Witts together .

Very proud of the boys today .

Gives me some confidence going into Anzac day .

For the first time I went to the Tewantin RSL to watch the game & met some great Collingwood supporters .

Now we just need to see the filth beaten & all is well in the world .

Outstanding. Bradshaw was looking way too smug on the footy show on Wednesday. That should put him back in his box Laughing

The point Donny is this: Of course North will try, as any side should, but that does not excuse the lazy ball use, turnovers and bad, bad, bad kicking for goal. We only have ourselves to blame there. Worst of all we actually started trying to ice the clock with 4 minutes to go. For goodness sake, the fans pay good money to be entertained not to watch sub-standard chipping the ball round and kicking backwards 50 metres.

Winning is very important, but winning with style is a lot more important in my opinion. Hawthorn and Geelong aside, most sides are not planning anywhere near their potential at the moment.
