Signed.

Though, it appears to me that the AFL don't give a toss what supporters think. At lest, they don't care about the ones who actually want to attend the games.

Variable pricing, the cost of food & drink, the cost of parking, scheduling of games at ridiculous times. It all points to one thing; they don't care about bums on seats at the game, they care about bums on seats in lounge rooms. All this is geared towards people watching on TV, driving up ratings, driving up Foxtel uptake, and as a result, driving up the next TV rights figure.

I am a Legends Member, but the only reason I can afford it is because I am the only one in my family interested in going. I really don't know how families can afford it. And the AFL don't care, as Vlad once said; "get Foxtel". The AFL are quite happy for Foxtel to be a more viable option for families than a seasons ticket.

shouldn't people be taking issue with the mcg and etihad re the price of food, drinks and parking? it is the same irrespective of which sport you watch.

True, but it just all adds up to making the experience of going to a game increasingly un-affordable for many families.
