prosecution having an each way by the sound of it.........

This "Prosecutor says victim Matthew Robertson had done nothing to indicate he was a threat to Williams at any time that night"

then this
"Prosecution says Williams was motivated by revenge when he when downstairs and left Studio 146"

Revenge for what then?

completely contradicts it self doesn't it

Yes and it's disgraceful behaviour, the idea is to get the correct result to fit the situation, not a max penalty at any cost.

They have used the Newman case as comparison. It reads like they don't believe it was a revenge style attack like Newman was so hopefully any penalty will be less than what Newman got.

This sounds promising....

LIVE - Judge Wager to Williams - "I find you were physically assaulted but you did not sustain significant bodily harm"

Strikes me as "I accept part of your story ... " but.... it's the but that worries me. Basically comes down to will it be suspended given everything he has done in the community or will they make an example of him as a stand against alcohol fueled violence..

surely he should get credit in how he has handled him self after the event. He is much more use to the community out of jail then in it.

"was no in self-defence"
"was not pre-meditated" ...

I've got no idea where this is going. Fair to say if he does get jail it's not going to be lengthy - I think.

Acknowledged Marley has worked hard to address some of the issues that caused him to go off the rails.
