Yet only 3 tackles and one 1%.

Sounds like a worthless stat to me tbh.

I'm not actually sure what it is. Just saw someone else quote it Very Happy.

Hopefully not, it's a better balanced defense with him there, and the Bombers have a couple of dangerous smaller types.

Ball can surely not be sub again. Would be disappointed.

Fas would have been the obvious one except that he played very well last week.

Witts? Bombers are only playing one ruck, we don't need two. It's not something we've done in the past, but possible. The other option is: in Dwyer, out Witts and Dwyer is sub. Probably my preferred option, in that we'd actually have a sub that can make an impact.

i thought only named bench players can be nominated as sub. and, it'd make sense if - as everyone is pointing out - langdon needed a rest. it's a way to ease him out without dropping him.

Funniest thing I've ever read in this thread.

Here is an article from 2011 that gives a good definition:

If Pendles & Tooves were our top scorers in pressure acts in our winning grand final team with 19 each, then 46 for Blair is a big number. No doubt his place in the team is a little dicey with good performances coming from others in the VFL. Blair will need to play well today.

That's the positive at the moment though, that 7-8 players running around for us today know they have to keep playing well or they might not be playing next week.

Competition for spots is now intense, and will only get even tougher overt the coming few weeks, and that should ensure a high level of performance and adherence from every one out there.

I'd be shocked if we lost this, utterly shocked.

Pies by 30.

5 tackles against Richmond, 6 against Geelong and forever fearless, always smacking in. I'll back the experts in Bucks and the coaching staff on this one I reckon Swoop. Respect your opinions but reckon we'll agree to disagree on it. Just don't think you can pin it all on stats - if so, I'd like to see stats for bumps, in and under desperation, locking the ball in, tapping it out, cutting off the lines for opposition players' to set up etc.

If we can cope with bombers pace early ( they have picked a very quick side) we will win well, if not it could get ugly

That's right but it's the bench players in the final team lodged 30 minutes prior to the game, they can alter the squad any way they like up to that point.

I just heard that as well. If Jobe doesn't end up playing we really should be expecting a strong win!

Not sure if it's already been mentioned but I'm just watching some of last years game on Fox Footy and I'm struck by the number of changes to our team from last time.

Of the ones I've seen, out are:
Hudson
Shaw
Reid
Brown
Lynch
Seedsman
Thomas
Russell
Clarke

That's a fair chunk of players in 12 months.
