Ben seems to have been returning in 2 weeks for about 6, and no mention in today's update from Rodney.

Would appear to be something reasonably serious.

Soft tissue injuries are always tricky. I wouldn't want the club taking too many risks on him. Wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see him again until after the bye.

I think Reid must be a slow healer.

Far out our injured players always seem to miss twice as many weeks as initially expected.

I'll be happy with after the bye, just please don't get injured, again, for the next few years.

As long as he's recovered from his last injury (I think it was death) he'll be right by about round 14.

Fair dinkum the Collingwood injury list is about as accurate as the umpires - which is to say not at all!!

He will be back after the bye, he said he wants to be back for round 7 (and who wouldn't want to be back for the Scum) but the club want to hold him back that extra two weeks.

Seedsman and Broomhead back next week in the VFL, Patty, Adams, Dwyer and Brown back this week, all looking up now,

The club is FOS with injuries.
Broomy, seedy and Freeman were all meant to be good by the start of the season and still arent back playing.

And how the heck does Adam Oxley end up out for 10 weeks after being listed as 6?

Did Freeman go surfing the day after his injury and have a shark bite his hamstring off?

This weekend will be 9.5 weeks since he did his injury. Even Burbury who broke his friggin jaw on the same night came back 2 weeks ago!!!!

Patience!!!! if we were the scum we would have to rush any player back even if half fit, but we are not, and I would rather see players rested for an extra couple of weeks and be cherry ripe than bought back too early and breakdown again.
It always amazes me our med staff got Luke Ball back on the park when St Kilda could not, and Toovs back playing after less than 12 months as well as many others, yet we continually question them about injuries, the severity of which we know nothing about. I think that we have some of the best medical staff in the AFL.
It seems too many diagnose injuries from the Ponsford stand.

I understand he's due to be resurrected on Sunday. Wink
