The PIES smashed the Toothless Tiggers.
The scum were taught a lesson. Our rejects won't win you a flag, fools!
And to put the icing on the cake, the "well respected esteemed and totally honest and ethical" Essendon Bummers were taught a lesson, albeit by Ross Lyon's men.
hey Bummers. I hope you are as innocent as you say you are. Because clearly, if you *did* bring down disgrace upon yourselves and the competition as a whole, you'd have to be the most useless cheaters the world as ever seen. At least that Lance Armstrong fellow was able to win from time to time!

Pies thump the Tiggers ( my 2nd most hated team - I haven't forgotten 1980 )
Carlton are not only beaten ,( but beaten by the leagues easybeats ) but now the defector Swann & the rest of the administration are about to rip themselves apart as only the filth can .
In fact the only downside was that Sadelaide Sissies managed to win .
All up , a totally satisfying weekend of footy .
