I expect Adams will play in the guts as a true midfielder for the whole game, in the VFL this week. Then he'll be the sub for the seniors on ANZAC Day.

Well Cunny is all the rage this week so it may well happen and probably should.

Cunny will find it tough if Caff lingers around him in the manner he did with Cotchin!

A tough game. Neutrally speaking, I'd be favouring the Kangas in a close one.

The key to this one may not be clearances. North seem to have a preference for setting up attacks from half back. We'll need to defend well through the middle and not allow easy ball movement. In the recent game where they did get us, it was their run that was the concern, and it will be again. I think we're building, but this will be a difficult one, Pies by 16.

We won last week, we lose this week. It's what we do.

I wish I was wrong, but at least it bodes well for Anzac!!!

Gee - if that is the case I will just buy half a membership next year and just go to the winning games.

By that logic, let's all just wait till 2030 after flags in 1990 and 2010........ Exclamation Twisted Evil

Hey, just the way things have been for a while, I will be praying to every god, demigod, Saint, and Guru I can think of we buck the trend and play at our league-beating best, I just won't be pinching mum's pension check to get on Sportsbet and chuck the lot on us.

We've started seasons this way fairly regularly. I remember we did it in 2003 until we got rolled by the Hawks and something twigged, suddenly we were flying up the ladder to make the four, losing only 2 games for the rest of the season, to the same team unfortunately... Sound familiar?

But that said...

Go Pies!!!

The next two weeks are going to be hard.

If we come away 1/1 then I'll take it.

Just hope this match lives up what it looks like it should deliver on paper. Yes we've gone L-W-L-W but the Freo game aside our form has been reasonably good. Will take an even better effort than Friday night to get over the Roos. Boy their insipid loss to the Bummers seems an eternity ago!

Go Pies.

Yeah, both teams have had one insipid loss and then reasonably good performances. This is a very hard one to pick, but I'll go with my heart and say Collingwood by 10 points.

This match should be a cracker and was a fun one to preview.

will we have the leg speed or fast ball movement to compete with them? this game concerns me. we cannot have a slow start.

I doubt it JW.

Yes we need to go flat chat right from the start and get an early lead. We just cannot afford to play catch up footy with this mob.
