I'm not un happy with the loss we played ok. But some of the ridiculous umpiring decisions in this game.. IE mctosh holding the ball in that last 2 mins should have been called, but they call taylor adams for almost the same shit 30 seconds later... joke. Also grundy was man handled in the ruck tonight and if touched the other free against. We will touch em up next time with some of our boys back

Can someone tell me how long a player has to take a set shot?

Can't win playing 35 minutes of good footy.

Skills are terrible, just terrible.

Oh well we didn't give up but basic skill errors cost us throughout.

great effort by the boys I thought - I'm not usually one to blame umpires for a loss, but that was BULLSH*ITE!!!

Our overall skills rank with the very worst in the competition. This is painful to watch every damn week.

The least skilled Pies side I've ever seen

Not that we weren't robbed mind...but still...

Just scrappy battlers without a gameplan, just awful to watch right now...

A good contest. As an unsettled team with key players still out we're not going to play pretty footy. Good ball movement is 90% structures and team cohesion, not individual player skill. It's going to take us a couple of months to start building that, I think.

Grundy rucked very well but tired towards the end, understandably.

We were pretty scrappy again and no player really stood out, but Sidebottom, Beams, Herry, Pendles and White were all quite good. Maxwell probably our best down back, too many errors from Frost and couldn't go with Hawkins one on one, the difference in the game I thought. Elliott was excellent with 5 goals.

Disappointed that Adams was the sub again, but wasn't great when he came on and will almost certainly be suspended for a high bump on Selwood.

Was thinking that too.. not quite sure when it started ticking but thought it was around the 1:30 mark, after he kicked it was 48 secs left.
