They are a young team who can't put another team away once on top so don't be surprised if the boys run out of steam in the second half of the season.

Managing that will be Bucks biggest test this and next year.

I disagree, it is a monument to how pathetic internet forums, and especially Nicks BB, have become.

Leave it here and keep bumping it. It sends me straight back to quiet comfort of the VFL forum.

Cheers
Shane

^^^ That's why I keep bumping it. It's easy to be negative about premiership chances. In any given year, the predictions of failure have a 94.5% chance of being correct, all other things being equal. It's a lot harder to look at the Club in transition and accept that the team and the coaching are a work in progress.

Agree.

ps. was I the only one impressed with Buckley's paddock that consisted of isolating Blair one out against 3 Crows tall defenders?

I think there was a slight drop in output from Cloke, Elliott and White that contributed to that strategy, Beast. Blair wasn't much of a target but at least he was presenting. I'm not really sure where the other boys were for most of the game.

Blair can present all he likes, it doesn't amount to anything 99% of the time.
But you're right, not his fault he found himself on his own surrounded by the Crows defenders numerous times in the second half.

Blair, I don't know, he obviously isn't the best marking option, isn't overly quick and isn't a great kick....

Love his endeavor, but how far can you go with that?

Not sure. We seem to be sacrificing efficient disposal for defensive pressure selecting the likes of him and Goldsack (still love you Goldy).

Not sure how we can sustain that if it's going to hurt us offensively. Teaching defensive pressure seems like it would be an easier task than teaching someone how to kick straight. Work ethic vs talent really, and I think we can agree Blair is not the most talented player going around despite his hard work.
