The perfect Thomas replacement, and we desperately needed one, especially as we'd also lost Wellingham. For this reason, I'm glad we've gone Freeman over Lennon, though I would have liked Salem to fall one more spot.

We pumped up Bontempelli and Salem so we could get the fastest guy in the Top 10.

And he wins clearances.

Hine is a thief

Jaxson Barham had pace

No, I like the pick, more than the other pick...going to be a good quick player...

I'm looking at him as a Swan replacement, actually. Very good core strength, insane acceleration, mediochre defensive skills, so-so kicking. If that ain't Swanny Mark II, what is?

Looks like a chunk who is a crappy shotgun like kick. His videos say more scott watters than anything to me. Not sexy enough for mine, but in Hine We Trust.

We're sacking him after two years?

Not sold on him, but gotta trust Hine I guess. He knows the ins and outs of these kids far better than any of us.

True and I think pace can be a two-edged sword because at junior levels it can be such an advantage that you don't have to develop other parts of your game.

Your Lokans and your Barhams had pace but they were not top ten draft picks. I'm glad we've invested in a pacy chassis instead of looking for quick but otherwise ordinary conveyances like we have in the past

Watters the player not the coach.

Richmond. I'd rather he was here. Still, with two top 10 picks, we can't complain, eh.
