Poor Lazza, how about we do the maths and I put it to you that Shaw was on 500k, we pick up Adams on lets say 400k that leaves 100k in the black. Now that 100k if that's the figure would be what they are given GWS for Shaw for two years. Reality no loss just a perception amongst the nuffys we are out of pocket. |
OK you can call me a bloody nuffy but doesn't that mean that WE still pay hundred grand x 2 for Heater at GWS? |
Hine has come out and stated a "Very small proportion" and it looks like it's only for next year. Keep jumping up and down about it.  |

Yeah... well in 2010 and 11, Shaw, Jolly, Thomas and Didak were all definitely amongst our 10 best players. That's why I singled those 4 out.
Johnno was a great servant of the club and an outstanding player. But if you had've told me he was going to retire at the end of 2013, I wouldn't have been shocked.
If you had've told me at the end of 2011 that at the end of 2013 we'd trade Shaw, delist Didak and Jolly and that Dale Thomas would leave the club, I would've been absolutely stunned. |

Joel Selwood. He's an extremely hard worker and he goes about the footy in the right way. Hes tough and professional.

I think he's ahead of both Fasolo and Young on 2013 form. As are most of the other players you've listed on the I/C bench. Still, your point is valid. Players are going to really have a go during preseason to get a senior berth. You haven't even listed Broomhead, Ramsay, Lynch, Witts, Mooney, or Martin (just off the top of my head) so competition will be fierce. |
