Would love to get this kid, amazed he wasn't picked by anyone last year! Clubs don't have much faith in their ability to turn loose kids into guns. We could definitely have done it under Mick and Butters, I hope we still can, it’s a great ability to have! He's supposed to have been great this year and I think there are other clubs keen.

Essendon were very keen last season, just I guess his partying and lack of commitment to playing in the AFL cost him his chance. Perhaps with all these off field issues going on clubs are getting less interested in touching players with baggage.

I dunno, I would have taken him with a late pick anyway, or rookie listed him at least.
