I suspect we'll only use pick 65 as a "live" selection should there be someone we've earmarked still available. |
Thanks for the response. Needless to say I've completely lost track of how many spots we have or who's a rookie, etc. Can't wait for the final list lodgement sometime in Dec. |

I suspect he'll be gone by 65. If journalists have suddenly cottoned on to him you can bet the recruiters have had him on the radar for a while. I'll be surprised if he's still there after round 3 _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

If we get a chance with a late pick and he's still there I would be rapt. The thing is, he could go anywhere from top 15 to a rookie pick. Ability is only part of the equation, the rest is based on clubs needs and appetite for risk.
He doesn't have any inherent physical weaknesses, he's just had bad luck but the same shit has cruelled other players too. If he gets a run at it, he's a 200+ gameer. Geez I hope we get him. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Stui I know you like him but he's no chance for top 15.
It should be remembered that whilst he starred in his first two games at TAC cup level in 2012 from what I've read he did little in the remaining half a dozen or so before being injured.
He'll go from pick 40+ to rookie listed for mine. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

I wish we had of taken Conlon but we'll back Hine in.
We'll have 1 rookie selection please let it be him.
That would be a fantastic end to the draft period. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

^^maybe but think Marsh will be our project player and Scharenberg will be our rehab candidate?! Conlon represents that in 1. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

I need clarification on our rookie list.
When Hine stated we only had 1 rookie spot remaining was he already including Kelly in that equation so we can select one other or is Kelly the player to fill that remaining spot? _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Fingers crossed for the rookie draft stui.
It sucks when the ones you have a personal 'thang' for are delisted - or not picked up.
Conlon would be a nice Gault replacement for you.
Here's hoping it happens _________________ they can smell what we're cookin' |

Mate, it's not so much about me as what I believe they have to offer the Pies. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
