Stick with the trumpet mate, your jokes are falling a bit short.

I agree, my attempt at humour was a low act. Wink

Yes it is wrong to laugh at setting anyone on fire
But it is not a headline you would ever expect to see.

Well said Joffa!

Now lets look at this issue in a complete perspective. The AFL are the first ones to hold special investigations into a teenage girl at our Club being intimidated by certain sensitive Swans players on the boundary line. All over alleged ape comments, with the media pack going gaga wanting scalps, particularly Channel 7. Yet we see uncontrollable laughter over a human being set alight by rogue AFL licensed footballers.

The double standards are sickening. Now remember Eddie was forced by the AFL to apologise over innocent remarks about a certain Swans player, yet the AFL boss finds the concept of setting a dwarf on fire so funny that he had to be restrained by Bruce, uncontrollably laughing on air.

Torching a hard working dwarf is so funny to the AFL that they have only can respond with a very public display of uncontrollable laughter? I can't wait til the AFL start preaching to us again about acceptable standards of behaviour and public conduct.

I charge Dimetriou with bringing the game into disrepute.

Hiss, stop doing this to me..... I'm agreeing with you again!!!!

Turns out that it was Clinton Jones who did the low act, not Kosi at all. Apparently Jones stepped in to help 'coz Kosi was having trouble striking the matches. Coordination problem, they say.

Oh spare me the latest on this disgraceful episode. The offending Saint has offered to donate a small fine to a charity of choice. Why would any charity want tainted money?

The real issue remains the AFL's instinctive response. Uncontrollable laughter. And for Channel 7; the self appointed guardian of political correctness ( especially when it comes to standards expected of Collingwood); what to say about their sniggering. Just look at the whole panel. Oh please! Cringe factor on display.

The AFL, in its predictable rabbit caught in the spotlight approach to most issues, has now expressed its shock and disgust at this "appalling incident'. Oh spare us the double standards. This dwarf deserves better than hollow shallow dribble press releases.

Now lets have a look at the AFL naming various home and away rounds around the themes of racial, social, gender, etc (tolerance). Say what! Are these symbolic round naming exercises a joke surely? Compare thus! That lighting a dwarf is so funny that the CEO had to be restrained to calm his uncontrollable laughter by another compare, so as to permit the offering of a comment.

Unless you have been living under a large rock, you may not have realised that the AFL and their media mates are largely shallow and hypocritical. Let the response to this dwarf being torched speak volumes and help you make up your own minds to the sincerity of the AFL and its cronies.

perhaps bertha could be the ambassador for the round.
