I'd love to post a photo of my cousin's daughter whose clothes caught on fire..... she's 6 now...... badly burned all over her torso, face and arms..... yeah, real fkucing funny!

Synthetic costumes, flammable alcohol around, what's funny? The guy could have been severely hurt. It would be terrifying when it happened. Not funny at all.
Some of the posters having a laugh were some of the incensed ones over the Eddie call. I find that strange.

I totally agree, I can't think of a more painful thing to go through, I was always terrified when we went clamping in case one of the kids fell in. Burns don't just scar, they burn the nerves, the pain is terrible.
I've got a pretty good sense of humour, and can usually laugh at myself, but I don't find this funny at all.
Apart from the fire stuff:
Yeah some of the dwarf jokes are funny, but how come no one is climbing on a stool to defend them?
We get to pick our minorities?
Just because someone doesn't get hurt physically, doesn't make this sort of shit funny.

Now lets look at this issue in a complete perspective. The AFL are the first ones to hold special investigations into a teenage girl at our Club being intimidated by certain sensitive Swans players on the boundary line. All over alleged ape comments, with the media pack going gaga wanting scalps, particularly Channel 7. Yet we see uncontrollable laughter over a human being set alight by rogue AFL licensed footballers.
The double standards are sickening. Now remember Eddie was forced by the AFL to apologise over innocent remarks about a certain Swans player, yet the AFL boss finds the concept of setting a dwarf on fire so funny that he had to be restrained by Bruce, uncontrollably laughing on air.
Torching a hard working dwarf is so funny to the AFL that they have only can respond with a very public display of uncontrollable laughter? I can't wait til the AFL start preaching to us again about acceptable standards of behaviour and public conduct.
I charge Dimetriou with bringing the game into disrepute.
