Bloody Clokey is the most frustrating player in our team. What are the thoughts about him to GWS and we pick up their first pick for Tom Boyd?

Get the boy off! I was yelling at the coaches box last night. I am sure Buckley was looking down at me. Bertha was ready to launch a vanilla slice at the box.

Cloke takes the most contested marks of anyone we have and close to anyone in the AFL. He has more opportunities to kick behinds then most forwards.
He needs to kick straighter, but he's not as frustrating as, say, Paine, who has great marking and good kicking but needs to work on the defensive side of his game. There are a number of others - Sidebottoms in good form but his dinky little kicks often cost us, many other options in the VFL.
I think he is unfairly maligned by many supporters. |

we'd be screwed without Cloke. He is there to do more than just kick goals!!! As Brown26 says above, he takes the most contested marks of anyone in the AFL. We have heaps of small forwards who can kick goals, but Cloke is extremely important to the success of this team.

Cloke's a gun, we'd be stuffed without him IMO, i hope he can sort his kicking out though.

Cloke said he kicked hundreds of shots at traing before the Sydney game,hence he kicked well.
Why wouldn't he do this EVERY week? Get Lloydy down there.
Rocca Sav has said post his career at the pies that he was never taught to kick for goal, EVER. That shocks me, especially when his background is shotputting.
Hawks taught us a lesson in front of goal last night. |

Don't get me wrong, he is a great contested mark. But I have absolutely no faith in his goal kicking ability. Even from 25 mts out directly in front of goals is not a gimme. We need someone who can kick goals regularly.

If you can find someone who can take as many contested marks as Cloke and kick straighter great, recruit him and we'll play him next week.
I doubt he exists though, and if he does he's playing for Hawthorn or Sydney already

Or GWS - Jeremy Cameron. I'd think about swapping Trav for Jezza, even though, after 1970 GF, it would pain me to call out "Jezza, you beauty".
Cameron will be as good as Royce Hart.

My first reaction was "get outta town... No way". But 'most everything has its price, and midfields win matches more than gun full forwards do. Especially gun full forwards with a faulty cross-hair. Would not want to see him go, and no way GwS would trade Cameron for him, but Boyd, mmm....

Cloke should fake injury after EVERY mark so an actual footballer can take the kick instead.
A player with such a massive deficiency in their game can not be a real footballer, a gifted athlete yes, a footballer, no.
