Can't pot Keeffey, did his job and kept Tippett quiet when moved on to him, we need Keeffe firing he has become a very important player for us. He frees up Reid, he can relieve Brown and as seen last night, he and Tippett would probably be the 2 most mobile 200+ players in the game at the moment.
Maxy battled on, not great but ok, he struggles in games like this where there is no loose man in defense and it becomes a one-on-one game. We all know Maxy's game is dropping off his man and getting to contests, when he can't do that and is forced to play one out he can be shown up.
Brown was really the only player that had a dirty night, he was magnificent last week so we can cut him some slack, Tippet was just too big, too fast and -on the night- too good for him.

Dont you know every Collingwood player is supposed to beat every opposition player every time.
Same as our coach is supposed to win every coaching battle every single time.
It is in the constitution I think.

So glad Bux gave Keefe a go on Tippett... he did as much as he could and was clearly helped out by our mids who strangled the vamps and eventually were running over the top of them in the 2nd half!
We own them again... umps kept them much closer and the win will give us a lot more confidence that our best is good enough!
We have a lot of up... Cloke can kick better - Grundy is a sensation and stood up against some big bodies in his 3rd game! Thomas played his best game when under the pump to keep his spot in the side - Reid will be a better fwd with mre game time up there as will Elliot and Marley and Sinkers down back. Goldy, Ball and Beams are all looking better each week after long spells out this year... atm really tough for Jolly, Seeds, Krak or Daisy to get a look in - which is a great place to be
I was surprised the crowd was less than 50k - but the Pies supporters did us proud - they were loud and even had the chant going to give the locals a little scare

The best part of Buck's coaching was subbing Brown off for Dwyer. It was brave to sub a tall off for a midfielder, especially if we lost a tall to injury, but Buck's as ballsy enough to take a risk and it was a great move.
Well coached.

Yeah subn Brown off was gutsy and showed faith in Keefe - although we also have Reid who could go back if Keefe went down with an injury - Lynch is up fwd with Cloke and Goldy goes back to help out Reid as needed with Maxy.

Stoked with our form at the moment. Just shows the potential we have in this squad. Silly losses will probably hurt us at the end of the season, but I'm proud that we have been able to show what we are capable of in the last two weeks.

Watching a replay, and I'm even more impressed with Grundy than I was last night. Jeez this kid is gonna be an out and out star! Can't believe he did so well in his 3rd game against a monster like Mumford...
Time to sign up to DTM's official Grundy fan club methinks.

That is a rather sweeping generalization.

Lynch is a spud and stands out in this team. He is contesting but his best work usually relates to a smother or similar. Decoy can be his only role. Jolly for Lynch soon. Would like Krak and Daisy running around late in the year. How proud are we atm.

You must be watching a different Lynch to me. I think he has been very good for the last two weeks, at least on par with his early season form. If he could get over his kicking yips he would be even better.

Yes, but as far as Spuds go he's one of the best.
As Stupied noted above Lynch's form in the last 2 weeks has been very good - like his early season form.

Midfield dominance helps that. Tippett didn't get as many opportunities later in the game as the game was played around our half forward line.
