4 quarters of 100% effort, first time this year.
We're getting players back and into form at the right time of the year, anything could happen over the next 2 months.
Great win, loved it. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

You've got to love that Richmond thrashed the top team but still dropped one spot on the ladder this week! |

This could be the turnaround we have been waiting for.
Keeffe down back means Reid up forward and we finally played out the 4 qtrs.
If we beat the Swans next week we are right back in this.

A lot more balance to the side now. Keeffey back enables Reidy to play forward, Bally back allows Blairy to play forward, Marley's discipline enables Harry to revert back to a more attacking role, and Browny looking fitter makes us feel far more solid.
Meanwhile, Grundy looks like he's been playing for a few years already, and importantly really troubles the more mobile ruckman who have traditionally troubled us.
I reckon Swanny and Pendles are also benefiting no end from Bally's presence, too. One quality battering ram goes a long way over the ball in this game.
Now we work Goldy back into the action and keep the Seed, Dids and co. playing good enough in the twos.
Our finals series has already started. _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

.. Our 2nd game ruckman holds his own.
DTM... you were right
Not saying that the brand new much, much more mobile ruck combination was the difference but.... What a difference _________________ Live and Learn from fools and from sages |

Gotta say I never say it (the margin) coming. Didn't know why we were favs if truth be know, Echo the thoughts of several that it was out best 4 quarter effort all year. Hope we can frank that form next week against the Premiers. We've been getting sub 40k crowds up here for a while so should get closer to 50k. Straight kicking from Trav helps and Keeffe settling down back is a boost but I dips me lid to wee man. He is such a barometer for our fortunes. _________________ Jonno

Wow. A powerful performance, the best this year. Now we need to maintain the effort and bring it each and every week for the rest of the year. _________________ "There's an old saying in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee, that says, fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Great 4 qtr effort. Loved the game of Brown and Keefe down back and the fact that all the midfielders got their share of the action.
By the way Grundy in only his second game looks like he belongs. Looking like the steal of the draft after only 2 games, |

That's what I'm talkin' about!!!
For the first time since 2011 we have seen a complete Collingwood performance. Four marvellous quarters of footy. Everyone played well. And we smashed the Dopers. Can you ask anything more than that?
Brodie Grundy has shown that Jolly is no longer needed and will follow BJ and Dids into retirement now. And when was the last time we ever saw these stats? Cloke 5 goals 0 behinds.
The ONLY disappointment on the day is the no one tested Watson's shoulder with a massive bump. I wanted to see that sucker in agony and pleading for mercy. |

Probably about one week earlier than we last saw Cloke boot 1.5 and 2 OOF. Don't get excited, he kicks the way a sundial tells time - works perfectly two times a year. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |
