Next week we have Sydney in Sydney. What a way to set up that challenge.

Wonderful performance.

The best thing ou of today is Grundy Q Stick combo. This is a far superior combination for us.

Q Stick looks the goods for mine, he struggled for a while but he gives us what we need. Grundy, he's speeeecial.

Yep—and only 6 points short of 4th place. Dare we dream?

Not a chance we'll make top 4 at the expense of Fremantle.

They have the easiest of run homes and despite our performance today our next two weeks are a 50/50 chance at best.

Great effort - blimey we are inconsistent, but when we're on we're damn near unbeatable. We were helped, though, by a pretty insipid Bombers outfit, and we won;t have it anywhere near as easy next week. If we can deliver this type of performance again (win, lose or draw), then anything's possible.

Is it possible that we saw tonight what we are building toward?

A 79-point win against a team that was in the top 4 going into this round. I don't think any of us thought that was going to happen.

Don't get carried away. We only beat Essendon. At this end of the season. Essendon are crap. Have been for years. the Dons are very, very tough to beat in April or June, but fall apart every August/September. With Essendon in their end-of-season form now, don't back them to beat Adelaide, Gold Coast, and insist on odds before you tip them against Footscray or St Vomit.

Nevertheless, a good hit out against the witches hats. Roll on the real game next week.

Wow. Easily the best we've played all year. No passengers this week. I don't think I've been this happy with a win since the 2011 prelim Razz

No - but the targets have to be the Swans and (possibly, if they stumble next week against Port) Geelong - they play each other and we and Hawthorn play the Swans. Freo are going to finish 2nd or 3rd.

To finish out the year, Essendon play Wet Toast, Richmond, Carlton, and Norf. They will beat Carlton. Probably.

great win by the boys! relentless pressure, everybody playing his part.

Not to discredit the effort of our boys, but does anybody have the feeling that the drug cheats were playing for nothing?

Peaking at the right time. There's a few opposition teams that would wish we were out of form, e.g. Eseendon.
