Watched the Suns yesterday for the 1st time this year and if I know how they've managed to win more than one game? Lazy, undisciplined and generally no idea. It was a very Melbournesque look about them. Probably says as much about Richmond who were unable to put them away but to be fair to both sides the conditions weren't exactly great - howling breeze and showers late in the game. The thing that stood out most though was their inability to lay a clean tackle, often crude, high and overly aggressive. For their sake, you'd hope that it was just a one off. On that effort, if we play anything close to 4 qtrs of high intensity, disciplined football this should be a comfortable win.

We can't take them for granted now, they have definitely improved big time since our last visit to Carrara. I'm hoping we can find a place in the 22 to give Grundy a taste of the big time. This guy can play. I remember watching Keefe making his debut up here and thought he had a great future.
Give Grundy a go please Bucks. Go Pies !!! _________________ Bob Rose....the measuring stick of humanity |

You should have seen them against Geelong. 3 qtrs of really good footy. They aren't quite there yet, but they will be a formiddable team in a year or two. |

We really need to make a statement in the next couple of weeks.
Win by good margins against teams outside the eight and win or at least be competitive against the druggies, Swans and the Hawks.
A 10 goals plus victory against the Suns is really important.
We are that much better, we just have to show it. |

re Blair, I think Bucks mentioned his last qtr efforts (good) in his post match so it may be unlikely he gets dropped. |

Now here is our chance to get that percentage we really need. Must win by at least 100 points. I pitty the Sons. AFL experiment that has wasted money on this stupid interstate investment obsession at the expense of Victorian football. They will never be anything. Wrong foundations and no recruitment potential as the well is dry in NSW. So lets show the AFL what their joke is really worth. In my opinion we are playing the AFL Commission and its arrogance next week. Not the sons. _________________ I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for. |
