Regardless of whether the rumour is true, there is so much smoke, it appears there is fire. Just rumour after rumour of player dismay at Bux.
There appears disunity in the team ( including the coaches as part of the team). There is certainly a lack of "team" and "unity" on field, that is clear for all to see. Maybe it's a reflection of the off field culture turmoil?
I don't know. It's just a theory. But I am concerned.
MM for all his faults, appeared to have unity to the cause even if a little undisciplined. |
You're right, it doesn't look good but I suspect the players are too set in their ways and are rebelling against Buck's hard line approach.
Something along the lines of you can't teach an old dog new tricks but if the Club wants to move forward those old dogs will have to adapt somehow or the lost dogs home will beckon. |

You aint Jesus Christ Harry.
Stop believing your own hype and concentrate on your football.
It is your football ability afterall that makes what you have to say reach an audience in the first place.
If you weren't an AFL footballer you'd merely be a person with good intentions posting on a bullentin board who's opinion wouldn't be worth all that much to those outside your inner circle. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

really gotta laugh.
only a couple of weeks ago krak had apparently walked out.
who's walking out next? |
At no time in the 3aw Sunday pre game did Caro say that Krak had walked out on Collingwood or gone back to WA
I re listened to the whole 3 1/2 of it.
Didn't stop a thread being started on here , BF and EBW , now who would go and do that.
Harry needs to worry about his career or it will be over sooner than he thinks. _________________ 1990 Grand Final :

Lets face it, Buckley was a crap captain and players disliked him. Now as coach, history repeats....
Call Perth, #17 Scott Burns, time to come home. Tough, respected, takes no crap. It's time.....spend the $ Perty!

Not surprised if Harry's card was marked the day he embarrassed The President. Rightly or wrongly, most people wouldn't survive in an organisation post that sort of bullsh1t. _________________ VOTE NO. Cancel the Cancel Culture. |

I don't think a manager can be so rigid. IMO a manager needs to understand their staff ( or coach his players). While you must have core values that are non-negotiable, other values should be encouraged/mentored but not enforced. Otherwise if you take their own personality away, they'll lose their passion for their job.
BTW I am a manager. So this isn't a grunt just whinging about managers. It's just my philosophy on management style. |

You're both dead right.
It's pretty clear a lot of negative Collingwood talk on Nick's and BF by so-called Collingwood supporters always seems a bit suss. We just don't know who is really posting, do we?
Regarding Harry, as soon as I heard he wasn't playing my first thought was it's not an injury and it's gotta be something else and I hadn't heard anything from anyone.
Trust Damian Barrett to stir up crap about Collingwood. |

Collingwood win tomorrow and this all goes away.
Lose and this will get stirred and stirred and no doubt, many of us will lose our minds!

Agree with that... I run a fairly large team myself and my "sack their arses" comment earlier was very much a piss take
Still.... Harry needs watch his movements me thinks... Footy clubs can be unforgiving... No running to the HR dept at a footy club... _________________ Beware the swooping Magpie. |
