It was good to see Newcastle able to keep it to just 1 goal, and able to score four themselves. Hopefully we can finish top 10 and have some more money next season... need a better owner and manager though. Even though Pardew hasn't honestly done too badly, but I think he's going to be lucky to stick around after the headbutt.

Newcatle improved the moment the prat Kinnear was removed. Much like our Kinnear, all promise and no delivery.

Though at least Kinnear for Collingwood knew names of players and didn't try and recruit players already at the club. Laughing

FA Cup 2014 Semi Final draw.
Games to be held at Wembley over the weekend of 12-13 April.

Sheffield United v Hull City
Arsenal v Wigan Athletic

That's currently teams; 3rd 13th, 44th & 55th in the Football League.
If Arsenal don't break their drought in this, then they will never get a better chance.
Nice work Wigan in standing up in defense of their win of last year. To make the semis again after winning it is a sensational effort.
Sheffield U have also done well. First team in 13 years to make the semis from the third tier.
Surely it will be Arsenal v Hull in the final....but then again this is the Cup.

So United fans turn on Fergie because he anointed David Moyes as his successor. Fans also had to be restrained from confronting Moyes.
Such a sense of entitlement. Do they really think they are above having a poor season?
On behalf of all the supporters who've suffered two decades of defeats to you, all you Man U supporters can grow a set and get over it!

Leicester City are promoted to the Premier League for next season. It's been 10 years since they were last in the top division. Already confirmed with six games still to play. Great effort by the Foxes. Burnley looking good for the other auto spot.
The 3-6 play off places are still a bit of a raffle but QPR, Derby, Wigan & Reading are best placed. Other more well known clubs; Bolton, Blackburn, Leeds, Birmingham & Nott Forest all languishing mid table or slightly worse.

Yeah it's good to see the Foxes on the way back up.

Nice to see Leeds and Birmingham off the pace too, can stay down there for a while longer.

Champions League semi finalists are sorted; Real Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern Munich & Atletico Madrid.
Overnight the current Spanish League leader Atletico outed Barcelona 2-1 on aggregate. Should have been more as they hit the woodwork four times in their overnight 1-0 home leg win.
Man U scored first in Munich to lead on aggregate, but then bang, bang, bang and it's 3-1 to Bayern on the night (4-2 aggregate win).
The draw for the semis takes place 11/04.
I'm hoping for a Real - Atletico derby final in Lisbon. That would be sensational. But realistically someone's got to get past Bayern and that probably won't happen.
