Yeah, but it's a PENTHOUSE!
If everyone else can find room for a proper dining space, surely they should? I just don't think they get it and I definitely don't think they deserve the honour of penthouse.

I don't think any of the designs are any good. I don't get a master and three "guest bedrooms!"
The living areas are all way too small. What's the point of a bar if there os no room to entertain more than three people?
I don't think any of the couples on this series deserve the penthouse, the Vic couple would be closest, then the twins. The rest are a shambles.

See I don't get the "penthouse" - so it's on the top floor big deal the whole complex is only a few floors high FFS - there seems to be no difference in design or what they are allowed to do or in budget - surely if it is the penthouse they should have a bigger budget so they can cater for bigger wankers?
To a simpleton like me - it is the top floor which has its disadvantages and advantages 
The difference between say floor 4 and 5 given the location is bollocks - hmmm I can make out those tree leaves a bit better 
 art work - first thing we would do if we were tempted to buy such an arrangement - build a bonfire, build a bonfire, put the artwork at the top and burn the fn lot!!!!!

Hahaha, yep, it's hardly ocean views!
Even one of the other seasons, " if I stand in this corner, and look around the corner of that building I can see a grain of sand!
And Im glad someone else thinks the artwork is crap! Ugh, I would not have that in my house!
Matt etc will have a hard time selling I reckon, it's all too weird, too impractical, personally I think most of it is horrid.
Of all I reckon Bec and the twins have the best styling by a mile. The twins is the most lux by a long shot.

they all were given random levels, then they completed a bedroom/ensuite, to be like a hotel room. in I think 24 or 48 hours, and the one judged the best got top level, 2nd best got 2nd top, etc etc.
the twins came last, got the bottom level, but neither are tradies, and it was very unfinished. most agreed however, that what they planned was a better design than the others.
that's why the comment has been made a lot that the building is upside down, and ground floor is more like a penthouse, posher designs, and better quality appliances.
I don't agree with much the judges like. and these things will always be subjective.
I don't like ultra modern, or weird arty stuff. I like liveable, practical, easy to clean, everything out the way!! I loved amitys stuff in the last block series.

They weren't just given the levels in order. They got to choose in order which level they wanted. Whoever won was always going to pick the penthouse, I think it just worked out they chose their own going down the levels.
Personally, I'd prefer level 1. Less stair work if the lift breaks down.

Yeah, that's right, I forgot.
Yeah after the top floor was gone, I would have gone bottom for a few reason, you can do more with it, and make it more appealing to more people,
And yeah, a lot easier with building!

Yep, unfortunately I agree.
I feel bad for Bec. What she's saying is right. No good the judges not giving them any constructive criticism at all but them scoring them low. How are they to improve if they're not given any feedback?

Yeah, how can they tell Maddies to start again, and then score them the same. I do agree it looked a bit corporate though, and mirrors would help a lot. I liked their artwork. It looked like something! Not blue poles!!
The weirdoes are going to have trouble selling I reckon, their stuff is too out there, and won't appeal to many. As for the penthouse, talk about old fashioned, skunky stuff, suck awful colours and patterns, I can't believe they rave about it!
