Dave he spent the entire first Quarter on the bench last week. They are easing him ino full fitness. No need to push him too hard too early. |

He may very well start on the bench. But he'll likely play the majority of his game time up forward as the deep target. Witts and (hopefully) Hudson will be doing the rucking in rotation.
Also, I'm surprised no one's noticed, but Ben Johnson is not in the team. Broken down again?

Given the weather it wouldn't surprise me if Hudson didn't play. I know he thrives on these sort of conditions but the extra runner could be handy and it's more important that we get game time into Witts, Grundy, and Richmond.

Don't know enough about their VFL listed players to know for sure but still a pretty handy side with Duigan, Watson, Laidler, Davies, Joseph, Buckley, Rowe, Menzel and Hampson with senior experience. Should make for a cracker of a game. |

Well, if the latest rumours are true, re Cloke, Witts could very well be playing, which means that Huddo just has to play tomorrow. There's no way Grundy can ruck a full game coming straight off an extended layoff with back issues.
As the others said, he has to be eased back into full fitness.
