Need a good honourable loss tonight. Can't afford to play 4 quarters of backward, slow, predictable football and getting smashed by 10+ goals. The wheels can't fall off tonight.
Got to show a more consistent 4 quarter effort and a greater commitment to run and create the option for teammates. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Anyone know if any of the emergencies didn't play this arvo? wasn't originally attending tonight but found a friend so yippee I'm going. Pies better make it worthwhile pissing the missus off!!!
Don't know why but I'm excited by tonight's game now, might only last 10 minutes before I wish I wasn't there but right now I'll enjoy the feeling. _________________ Side By Side Forever |

All 3 emergencies played this arvo, BJ was great, Didak got three goals but didn't do much else while Mooney was sparingly used, maybe because of that knee or maybe because he was being held over just in case.
I'm excited too, the vibe around the VFL boys was great today, I reckon we'll push the Cats to the limit tonight.
I believe. |

^^I'd be with ya if I thought we'd picked a capable team. I just don't think we have. Can't see a win tonight, but we always live in hope.
I wonder if we'll have anyone on hand in case of an injury in the warmup? I know the emergencies all played in the VFL, but to have no one ready would be a bit of a risk. If someone had to come in they could play as the sub. _________________ Well done boys!

About to head in. I am prepared for the worst but just hope the boys put a big fight, that's all I ask. You never know remember 2008 Round 9 they were 8-0 and we were 4-4 going in and we all know what happened that night.

Fully agree jw, would not be surprised to see a big upset tonight, after the bombers losing to the brions. Cats are red hot faves, and I love that, they could be in for a rude awakening, we can hope anyway.
