someone should merge the thread with the one we started about the guy that did the same thing toi Travis cloke in the Richmond game. Its funny how your reaction all depends upon whivch color your one eye is.

+1. How come it's OK (Milne) only one week after it's not (Cloke). Seems it's not just the tribunal that's inconsistent.

Remember Eddie's comments re the Tiger "mongrel"?

Now what might he have said if calling last night's game? Shut up you old boiler and stop giving our supporter base a bad name! Razz

I didn't like it one bit I'm sorry. Perfectly highlights the double standard that pervades this forum. We can't condemn others for bad behaviour if we applaud this sort of carry on.

The big difference between the Cloke and Milne shots at goal is that Milne missed. If he had kicked the goal, she would have looked like a spud. However, Milne missed so he looked like he choked because of what she said. Milne probably just missed because that happens in football but the theatre around the kick made the miss look bigger.
Shouting at the players on the field is part of the carnival of the game. Players also do things to put the opposition off.

The Tigers fans were made to look stupid but fair dinkum. Some people need to HTFU. Milne would have copped that every week for 10 years. Cloke has. The only line that needs to be drawn is the racist one. Over the years some of the thing said about Mick Turner, Warrick Capper, Ablett, Tuddy, John Nicholls, Wayne Johnston and Jimmy Krakeur would have had us kicked out of the ground. They are also some of the funniest things I have heard.

Who said what about Mick Turner? Capper, Ablett, Nichols, Johnston and Lockett all had it coming - be hard to defame any of them.

John Nicholls, for a start, if you do some research on the bloke, makes some interesting reading.

Yep - not a coincidence that prison is called "the Nick". There was a story about hiring an Avis car in Melbourne, driving it to Sydney and flogging it there - hard to know what's true. I remember Mike Williamson presenting Big Nick with the Falcon for best player as voted by whatever program he was hosting in Ch 7 that year.

I have memory that Rod Blake may have been a mate of Turner in that alledged incident.

Yep she fulfilled every one of the Collingwood supporter stereotypes except one. She had false teeth! Razz

How did you know she had false teeth? Did she go down on......?

They were as white as the guy in the Yellow Pages ad with false teeth. Nobody that old or that fat has teeth that numerous or white unless they are false.

I was embarrassed by her. Deal with it! Evil or Very Mad

Now you know how we feel about you on nicks........

Sorry Nesta, i love to see the gals flying the flag for us at Therapist.
When a female on matchday gives a bake over the fence, it is seemingly termed as amusing; however when a male does it, it is viewed as alcohol-fuelled agression, evidently warranting eviction from the arena.
I'm sorry if that is seen as a double-standard either on the forum, or in public. Actually, i'm not sorry - go Donna, you go-girlfriend!! Razz
